The Opportunity

Acquisition of a top-floor studio apartment within a historic building in Monaco-Ville, close to the Place de la Mairie and the Prince's Palace.

The property required substantial refurbishment and modernisation but presented an attractive opportunity to create a distinctive residential apartment in one of Monaco's most historic and architecturally significant locations.

An important consideration in the acquisition was the property's position outside certain regulated rental regimes applicable to older residential buildings in Monaco, providing greater flexibility in its potential letting arrangements.

Investment Strategy

 

Our strategy focused on the comprehensive redevelopment and repositioning of the existing studio into a high-quality, one-bedroom loft apartment, maximising the available space and enhancing its functionality, comfort and residential appeal.

The project was designed to combine contemporary interiors and modern residential amenities with the distinctive character of its historic surroundings.

Particular attention was given to the efficient use of internal volumes, the quality of finishes and the creation of an attractive residence suited to Monaco's international rental market.

Project Implementation

 

Working with JJ Design Studio, Deverini Architectes and TDMP Entreprise Générale du Bâtiment, Ameera Properties coordinated a comprehensive programme of refurbishment and internal reconfiguration.

The works transformed the original studio accommodation into a contemporary one-bedroom loft apartment, with redesigned living spaces, modern facilities and carefully selected interior finishes.

The project required a considered approach to the adaptation of an existing property within Monaco's historic urban fabric.

The refurbishment programme was successfully completed over 20 months.

The completed project transformed an outdated studio into a distinctive one-bedroom loft apartment, combining contemporary residential accommodation with the architectural character of Monaco-Ville.
